Position: Information Officer

ROLE DESCRIPTION
He/She will be required to manage all information regarding the Foundation and make relevant information easily accessible to the public electronically and via other means. He/She will be required to work with electronic and print information and be responsible for website content management, database management amongst other duties.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
· Selecting, managing and acquiring information/resources (both hard copy and electronic) to meet the organization’s current and anticipated needs;
· Classifying, collating and storing information, usually using computer applications, for easy access and retrieval;
· Managing the organizations’ database of clients and members;
· Conducting information audits when required;
· Maintaining a dynamic e-presence for the organization via social media sites and other relevant websites.
· Writing and editing meeting reports;
· Developing materials for publications;
· Maintaining and regular updating of a dynamic website ;
· Ensure all of the Foundations’ programmes are recorded, properly documented and uploaded to various websites for easy access to the public;
· Responding to enquirers' requests using electronic and printed resources;
· Developing and exploiting multimedia information;
· Keeping track of all testimonies given during meeting and programmes;
· Follow up with first timers at all meeting and programmes of the Foundation;
· Any other duty as assigned.

EDUCATION QUALIFICATIONS & PROFESSIONAL COMPETENCIES:
· B.Sc. or HND in any relevant discipline from a reputable higher institution
· Membership of a professional body is an advantage

EXPERIENCE:
· Minimum 1 years ‘hands on’ experience in a similar capacity.

TECHNICAL COMPETENCIES:
· Sound knowledge of how to utilize social media sites
· Experience in developing material contents
· Experience in recording and uploading materials including videos online
· Sound report writing skills
· Computer proficiency a must
