Position: Estate/Facilities Manager Role Description This position will be the primary interface with the residential and working communities within the area, understanding and responding to their needs so far as is practical, legal and affordable, through the effective and efficient co-ordination of all facilities and services within the zone in order to provide an exceptional service. Main Responsibilities • To be the Manager for the area, ensuring statutory compliance and being the primary contact in respect of all estates maintenance and development matters, undertaking risk assessments, organizing emergency procedures, liaising with occupants, eliciting their cooperation or informing them of developments. • Management of the hotel accommodation to strict financial objectives, quality and standards. • Liaise, report and maintain standards on the specialist segments such as maintenance, catering and cleaning. • Liaise with internal and external providers to obtain the best level of service for the company • Ensure that all of the services provided exceed in performance standards and meet all customer expectations. The guidelines for standards are set in accordance with the service department in liaison with the Admin Manager. • To undertake space audits and to optimize the utilization of space in the interest of the company • Coordinate all communication to members (both online and print) throughout the organization • To assist with all relevant aspects relating to welfare and social requirements. EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE: • A University degree in Estate Management or any other relevant discipline • At least 3 years experience in a similar role • Membership of a relevant professional body is an advantage TECHNICAL COMPETENCIES: • Understanding of the principles and practices of maintenance operations and management • Ability to work independently with a flexible and creative approach • Ability to prioritize in a stressful environment • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) • Excellent computer skills BEHAVIOURAL COMPETENCIES: • Organization and prioritization skills • Team player and leader • Supervisory skills • Attention to detail • Strong Customer Relation skills If you meet the above requirements, please send your application to [email protected] and/or [email protected] not later than 16th September, 2011.
