A fast growing real estate company located in Ajah urgently needs to fill the position of Accountant.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
· Filing and maintaining all invoice records.· Handle the processing and payments of all invoices· Carry out analysis of accounting transactions.· In charge of accounts payable services including reviewing and auditing vendor invoices, preparing cheque requests, monitoring financial activities, aligning monthly spending with budgets, and maintaining vendor files.· Responsible for preparing information requested by year end auditors and be able to explain journal entries made.· In charge of the preparation and maintenance of accurate financial reports and accounting files for budgeting and accounting purposes. · Performing bank reconciliations, preparing payroll journal entries, and preparing monthly financial statements.· Any other duties assigned.

EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE:
· A good degree in Accounting from a reputable higher institution .
· Minimum of 2 years experience in a similar position with at least 1 year in an audit company

TECHNICAL COMPETENCIES:
· Sound knowledge of generally acceptable accounting principles (GAAP)
· Knowledge of accounts report preparation
· Sound knowledge of book keeping practices
· Knowledge of an accounting software (sage, peachtree or tally) is an advantage
· Sound computer skills
