Our Client: A leading consumer durables company is looking to fill their Go To Market Manager position within their firm

Location: Lagos

Minimum job requirements:

Sales and/or Marketing degree
MBA in marketing is an added advantage
A male candidate between 28- 35 years of age
5-8 years of work experience, preferably with a local distributor/customer
Detailed understanding of the business issues in the area covered by the subsidiary (knowledge of the channels, experience as marketing manager, business manager or consultant)
Demonstrated professional and academic success
Demonstrated capability to drive change across an organization
English is a must (local language if applicable a plus

Communication skills

Advanced writing, collaborating and communication skills
Able to interact and persuade individuals levels senior to him/her
Capable of driving change in a matrix organization
Must be able to act as a coach, trainer and teacher
Great networking skills

Analytical skills

Ability to integrate business knowledge and analytical insights to develop customized best practice recommendations
Understand and perform financial analysis
Determine analysis required to recommend GTM decision making (e.g., how to structure a problem, collect relevant data, analyze insights and present results)
Strong quantitative and qualitative analytical skills
Able to be a center of excellence for best practices
Ability to work independently

GTM Implementation
Full responsibility and accountability for driving and managing the GTM implementation in the subsidiary (all countries, all modules, all functional areas)
Train/Coach subsidiary customers on GTM best practices (extended to full module implementation at later stage)
Conduct detailed analysis to support the GTM roll-out (all functional areas)
Ensure sustainability after GTM implementation via follow up, support and training
