(Female) Finance and Admin Executive (JOB REF NO: FA01)

Reporting to the CEO, this position is charged with handling all aspects of the organization’s internal financial management requirements and that of its basic Human Resource and Administrative needs.

The overall purpose and objective of this position is in 3 major areas:
1. Financial and Cash Flow management, monitoring and reporting
2. Management of Basic Human Resource and Administrative needs of the organization
3. Manages external financial related matters, receivable and payables & also with supplier and vendors negotiations
Key Responsibilities:
The major responsibilities of the job are:
1. Act in the capacity of a Trusted Advisor to the CEO on all financial related matters to foster the growth of the organization. Support of Sales functions in preparation of business quotes and ensuring minimum average profitability of all business related transactions. Provide strategic recommendations & solutions to business & financial problems

2. Prepare financial management reports, ensure accurate and appropriate recording and analysis of revenues and expenses, budget and forecast activities. This includes, but in not necessarily limited to reporting on the following: Daily, Weeky, Monthly, Quarterly and Annual Reviews.

3. Establish & monitor the implementation and maintenance of accounting control policies and procedures. Resolve accounting discrepancies and irregularities. Interact with internal and external auditors in completing audits. Monitor and support taxation issues, including and not limited to licenses and all other regulatory requirements

4. Development of an employee-oriented company culture that emphasizes quality, continuous improvement, and high performance. Document and manage all basic Human Resource and Administrative functions. (Lateness issues, work ethics e.t.c)

5. Ensure short lifespan of all receivables and extend payable related activities on behalf of the organization. High level of involvement with also with supplier and vendors negotiations (3 quotes system)

6. Develop & maintain financial databases using Peachtree & Microsoft Excel

6. Able to react to change productively & handle other essential tasks as assigned.
Qualification:
• Must possess a good first degree in Accounting or Finance related field
• Possession of a Masters degree in Finance, MBA, ICAN or other relevant accounting professional body is considered advantageous
• Must have at least 2-3 years cumulative work experience in Finance and accounts function,
• Must possess good knowledge of business strategy as well as the ability to exercise judgment, initiative and discretion at all times.
• Previous work experience in a consulting environment would be advantageous
• Must be an experienced executive who is able to creatively deploy innovative solutions to meet changing situations
• Must have excellent communication skills; high ethical standard and integrity; capacities for strategic thinking & planning and sound judgment.
