In our country today, there seems to be confusion among the graduates, everybody wants to join the IT/bank bandwagon, irrespective of the course he/she read. This however confirms the truth of the saying, “The grass is always greener in another place”.

But, every course is still very relevant. The Chemists are still needed in every economy and likewise in ours, and the Economists are still very relevant as they have been, so also are the Accountants, Teachers, the various Engineering divisions, the Microbiologists, Journalists, Estate Managers, Sociologists and what have you. There must be balance.

Obviously though, our educational system, have failed to prepare its graduates for the tasks ahead. Thus, the current minister of education, Dr. Sam Ominyi Egwu, himself a lecturer of many years standing, could say, that Nigerian graduates, his products, are unemployable; he knows what he was saying?

Dear friends, one thing is certain, wherever you maybe; whoever you are; it is for a purpose. There can be only one you. Nothing happens by chance, the course you read is not by mistake, even if you think so; there must be something that led you to it. You are in the right profession and in the right place.
