    House Why so many Failures?

Nigeria has failed- Who caused it, Who is to be blamed?

Who is to blame for the failure of Morals in Banks, universities, business, the church ?

From the posts on this forum it is evident that so many Nigerians (Bankers,Pastors, Reverends, politicians, the clergy, businessmen, traders, civil servants, students, graduates, married couples, parents,Nigerians living abroad, indeed most Nigerians are failures). That means You too!!!

90% of Nigerian graduates are jobless, cash strapped, desperate failures looking for some means of coping with the realities of life in Nigeria.

Yet some of their colleagues, friends, and university course mates are landing plum jobs in the telecoms sector, in banks and in oil companies. Some graduates have started church ministries as a means of making money to survive.

The painful thing is that those class mates of the jobless graduates; those who have landed these lucrative jobs may not even be as smart and hard working as those who are unemployed.

What are these 90% of Nigerian graduates doing that is causing them to fail? Why have they not yet been employed even though their mates in banks, telecoms, oil companies and churches are happily collecting unbelievably huge, mouth watering incomes every month. Why are these people failures?

Many of these unrepentant failures are not ready to ask themselves the hard questions
(such as, “Why haven’t I succeeded yet?” " Why haven't I got a job yet" "Why am I not married yet?"). Instead Some blame their parents, their wives, poverty, and their friends; others blame the Nigerian government, politicians , the Catholic Church etc; some even blame their children. Who is responsible for such failure in our country?

What do these people need to learn? What do they need to know or to do so as to reinvent themselves in order to succeed?

What is the difference between those who succeed and those who fail?

How can they -( these young Nigerian graduates ,many middle level Civil Servants ,many office workers and many politicians, many parents, many married couples even many Reverends and pastors,)-how can they eliminate the failure barriers and go from crippling failure to success?

What can we do to make Nigeria a Better Place?

    @naira2009!

Please let this house know where you belong. Do you see yourself a "failure" or a "success" ?

If a success, let this house know 5 of your outstanding achievements in the past 5 years.

Then, we can take it from there.

It is true. So many people choose to blame outside forces, home trouble, inlaws, jealous bosses in the office and other people for their failures.
Why do Nigerians always run away from the truth?

    - Absolutely wrong!

What gave you the impression that Nigerians who fail are LAZY?

Lets learn to be objective whenever we are making utterances that refers to the general populace.

However, I honestly beleive this is just your opinion; so it doesn't really count!

    @ Dagunro

Nigerians like to bluff. They think they are smart. But they fail in all the important areas of life. Look at Nigerian roads. Look at Nigerian hospitals. Look at the Nigerian education system. Look at the Nigerian employment scene. FAILED. ALL WOEFULLY FAILURES.

Look at the ramshackle buildings that Nigerians put up as university lecture halls and hostels. Compare the present structures with the buildings put up by honest hard-working Nigerians like Awolowo, Nnamdi Azikiwe and Sardauna of Sokoto.

Nigerians are lazy and come to think of it they are CHEATS!!!
Dagunro do not defend them. Nigerians are lazy, dishonest, woe begotten FAILURES.

I do not believe any people (including Nigerians) are inherently corrupt or lazy.
There is a serious lack of opportunities for people in Nigeria and this causes the issues that we see today.
We need to build a strong varied economy that is not just based on Oil and give people the opportunity to succeed.
Unfortunately things have gone on like this for so long that everybody only looks out for themselves now. only strong leadership in the future will get us out of this mess of our own doing..
