....Yes. ICAN does not lay emphasis on class of degree!

@ Mikland, class of degree shouldn't be your problem right now, how to read those bulky packs and pass their exams should be your problem. On their form or Pin Paper, there's nothing like class of degree. Just pass their exams and you are ACA like any other Chartered Accountant. I believe @ lanyat and dagunro have answered your question.

Not so fast....
You'll need to first register as a student member.
Once your membership is accepted/confirmed, you'll pay the annual due.
Then you may apply for full exemption from PE I (If you have a first degree in Accounting). But you may wish to start writing from PE I. If so, you do not need to apply for exemption.
Once exemption is granted, you may now register for and write the exams (PE II).

@ dagunro, that was the Old syllabus, ICAN has reviewed their old system, it's now Foundation, Intermediate, PE 1 and PE 2, there's nothing like PE 3. so graduates of accounting (B.Sc/Hnd) are expempted (under the new system) from Foundatn, Intermediate (Price is N41, 000) then you can write PE 1. (Courses under pe 1 include Informatn Technology, Management Acctg, Financial Acctg, Advanced Audit and Assurance). All the best @ Mikland.
