Reporting to the Chairman, the General Manager willtake prime responsibility for developing new business and generating sales toensure the Group’s growth, profitability, prosperity and sustainability as wellas increasing efficiency and effectiveness. The Role

  • Manage the operations, human and financial assets of the agency
  • Achieve budgeted financial goals and grow the agency’s revenue share
  • Manage and develop a high performance team, maintaining a positive and proactive working environment that encourages efficient team working.
  • Train, manage, and motivate all agency personnel including the sales/marketing team
  • Develop non-traditional revenue sources
  • Manage and maintain the employee relations and agency relations
  • Manage and control sales revenue by developing strong relationships with clients
  • Lead Agency Pitches to Prospective Clients and Grow Agency Top line Revenue
  • Write In-Depth, Very Strategic, Metrics Based Proposals
  • Develop and Articulate In-Depth, Very Strategic Integrated Marketing Programs
  • Meticulously Execute and Manage every communication element of Advertising and Marketing


REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor’s degree in socialsciences and clearly a quality MBA would be an added advantage.
Must be a Registered Member ofAPCON
Must have a minimum of 8+ years'senior management advertising agency experience and a thorough knowledge ofstrategy, media and creative development.
Must be an expert in advertisinganalysis
Possess exceptional ability todevelop advertising results in business financial modeling and business reports.
Strategic mindset, strongleadership, motivational, presentation and negotiation skills.
Exposure to regulatoryrequirements would be an added advantage.
Expert Level Advertising andMarketing Experience
Expert with Brand Development andPositioning
Expert at Developing, Selling andExecuting Integrated Marketing/Advertising Programs for large clients
Extensive experience writing high-level strategic proposals, marketingcommunications plans and the ability to sell those plans through
Strong, persuasive written andverbal communication skills are critical - including the ability to present infront of groups.
Ability to work independently ina team environment, and possessing strong analytical, organizational,supervisory and interpersonal skills.
New business skills are necessaryto assist with agency growth.
Must be very visible with aprofessional appearance and highly respected.
Ideal age should be between 40-50years.
