The Geoscientist role is for a Nigerian professional with 4+ years of experience, ideally with E&P, however would also consider from a Service Provider.Basically I would need someone who is able to carry out geological activities with exposure to several phases of the asset life cycle from exploration to abandonment. Should have direct experience and a level of knowledge within: petroleum system analysis(play fairway mapping and prospect generation), reservoir characterisation, 2D and 3D reservoir modelling, Well Planning, Asset Evaluation...

The ideal Candidate would have had a previous experience in the industry, in either a Service Organisation or an E&P. Also, a level of understanding and application is required in the following areas:

1. Petroleum system analysis: play fairway mapping and prospect generation
2. Depositional processes and reservoir facies distributions in a variety of settings
3. Interpretation and integration of geological data for reservoir characterisation for input into predictive models
4. 2D and 3D reservoir modelling, including deterministic and stochastic geocellular modelling techniques
5. Quantification of reservoir risk and uncertainty and integration with volumetric calculations
6. Decision and risk analysis
7. Well Planning
8. Operations geology and drilling operations
9. Asset evaluation
10. Field Development Planning
11. Reserves classification and evaluation principles
12. Experience of standard industry interpretation, mapping and modelling software with understanding of background theory
