Bro, that's incorrect. I just checked shell's website and the recruitment is still on.
Removal date still reads December 2013

It's not late to apply. Both opportunities i.e Internship and SRD are open till Dec 2013.
@flexible 1: The info u got was because u searched under the internship opportunity. If u search under SRD, u'll find out the opportunity is still open.
