Don`t thwart peoples chances iykomoto. We have interviewed people that claim their Risk Based Inspection Technicians and found out that they are RBI technician by experience but have no certificate to back it up,,,,,,,No company will take you without a certificate in specialist work today. This is not my first post in Naijahotjobs and people have been called and interviewed last week.
I posted for NDT TECHNICIANS ASNT LEVEL I,II IN MT,PT,UT,RT AND I POSTED FOR IRATA ROPE ACCESS LEVEL I,II & III WHICH PEOPLE WERE INTERVIEWED IN MY PRESENCE. THOSE THAT SENT THEIR CV`s ARE NOT FOOLS AND THE PEOPLE INVOLVE IN NDT/INSPECTION KNOWS THEIR CERTIFICATE IS MORE IMPORTANT THAN LOOKING AT THEIR CV`s.

Mr. Oyalagee, ihear u, but I think it's high time u started training young and dynamic Nigerian to these specialties and stop looking for ready made. People with ASNT LEVEL I,II IN MT,PT,UT,RT , WIC, etc, are not idle at home (they are busy at work). Train new people plz.
guys please slow it down and stop taking things personal,
@Oyalagee, u've done ur part, we'll do ours, and U have also done a gr8 job convincing people that this is legit...allow them do the maths
@iykomoto...brother, if u no wan chop this food, leave am for others please, one man's food is another man's *********, that kind thing!!!
iykomoto,,,,the fear of oil and gas servicing company training fresh graduate this days is because of the decision taken by the trainees after been trained,,,,many begin to look for experience jobs with their certificates forgetting that so much money was voted for their training and the employer is faced with new recruitment. For how long will the employer continue training and seeing them leave as experience technicians?
Today, the employer prefers recruiting experience hands and trainees are employed too to learn on the job which enables the employer see his employees work for long time with him and by then should have trained several set in case some are leaving.
@IYKOMOTO: Wither na?I think d guy has made his point clear.Ur sayin those dat hv these qualifications r busy workin,u wld b surprisd at hw many r stil unemployd or might b seeking 2 change jobs.Cut d guy som slack abeg.
please are you loving for technicians or engineer, i have got an MSc in corrosion and have experience in corrosion and NDT inspection so when you say technician i don't understand
where can one get these trainings? any info? pls share!

brother...experience? yes...but are u certifiedOriginally Posted by ebynutcie
u know some of us by virtue of where we have worked in the past have a lot of experience at hand, but no certification to prove that, these certs act as a passport into the company, b4 our experience can be useful, I guess they are more interested in the certs to prove u're experienced
