I think you are not very correct. That it is a computer based test makes it easier for them to administer different tests to candidates at the same time. All they need is to program which test a candidate user name will take and whenever he logs in, the questions for that test will appear to him.

I suppose there won't be mathematical or engineering theory because it is difficult to write equations with the computer no matter the type of PhD you have in word processing. That does not however rule out essay type theory questions that may not require equations to answer.

That it is computer based does not eliminate essay. There could be essay writing like is done in GRE. All you need is to learn speed (maybe average speed) typing and learn how to punctuate.

It's not very easy to predict the nature of the questions. My advice will be to prepare across board.

I agree with sbmee...i think it even becomes easier for all test samples to be programmed based on candidates' choices.

In trying to be careful I have not opened a book at all...and I dont know if thats bad cos I actually dont have materials or past questions on Safety Engineering and Risk Management. Even Sammie my good friend wont even reply my mails.

@Sbmee u're on track.I anticipate a conbination like the one you describe. But again, how do you mark the essays? for such a large no. and on short notice like they have now.

Sammie is correct ... Cinfores will probably use their software, Brainfield which has no facility for essays ... check their site ... I am also not sure oooo

There are software that mark essays. Sounds strange right, but they exist and to a good approximation compare relatively well with individually marked essays. I don't know how PTDF will mark their essays if they should bring one but softwares exist for that should they want to use a software which gives good results as well.

I know there are softwares that mark essays ... all am saying is that since Cinfores is coordinating the exams, they are likely to use their own software, BRAINFIELD, solely made for conducting test ... pls check their site www.cinfores.com

hi peeps, i sincerely share Sammy's thought. prior to this time i've always been

trying to picture what the online exams will look like. it will be very unfair on their

part to have us pass through the rigorous process of answering all of that essay

questions with the use of the keyboard. Even if there would be essay questions,

i believe they'll be few. However, i'll make proper use of Sammy's advice.

I THINK THE OBJECTIVE QUESTIONS WOULD BE COMPUTER BASED AND THE THEORITCAL ASPECT WOULD BE HAND WRITTEN.
