Well they won't respond cuz the quest sounds akward,..de answer is NO, as a trainee ur learnin nd u'l be paid peanut,..but once ur tru dey will start payin u as a staff,.NOTE: as a trainee ur nt yet a staff ur on de process of being staffed,..so once ur tru wit been a trainee ur nw a staff nd would be paid for workin not learnin,dey would pay u more cuz dey would nt expect mistakes.end of story

Ur welcum,..gudluck on ur trainee stuff,nd while on training pls try to pay attention to de slightest details as u will be tested,..if u gat any connect for sumtin on engineering,plz let me knw as we 'me' still searching for a job,..hehehehe

@Helex: diff companies hv diff terms 4 such arrangement. Like some wld call it a probation period others training. So when ur thru with dt its certain u'll get a salary raise, sometimes it might nt be much.
Lik I knw a servicin company, dt after hiring keeps its new hires as trainees for about 4- 6 months aftr dat they get confirmed as "full staff" and their salary jst gets a boost of about 10k or so, other companies might be much diffrnt sha.

@ojmaroni247: funnily, the traineeship isn't in an engr coy. Though am an engr grad but after test and interview that lasted for three months, I just got an offer of employment as a management trainee in an insurance coy.

@heleex congrats,.I just hope dey dnt put u in dier marketing dept,..if dey dnt den ur gud to go. Congrats again!!! And pray for we, but make sure u practise ur study finally (engineering) . Gudluck!!
