1. Job Title: UFR SCNL QC Coordinator

Job description
Responsibilities:


  • Manages through the supervision of a team of 30 inspectors and with respect to HSEQ objectives the onshore QAQC activities in Nigeria (SCNL, PCNL, Nestoil/EWT) with more than 15,000 tons of subsea structures and coating/double jointing of more than 7,000 pipes.
  • Defines the onshore CPY QAQC organisation required to supervise all onshore construction activities.
  • Support the Construction Superintendent to verify consistency between engineering /procurement and construction engineering.
  • Follow up in close coordination with CTR’s, the UFR Construction manager and the UFR QC Lead the availability of the materials and equipment required for construction activities.
  • Ensure that as-built dossiers comply with all QA/QC requirements and are delivered to the facilities end owners/users.
  • Promote and maintain a permanent smooth and seamless communication with CTR and UFR teams during all phases of the project.
  • Provide indoctrination and training of all COMPANY QAQC personnel and actively promote quality awareness and commitment within the Project.
  • Direct implementation of COMPANY IIF program within the site/yard QA/QC organization.
  • Ensure that Project contractual and technical and quality requirements are met.
  • Assure that activities required for the quality management system are planned, implemented, controlled, and their progress monitored.
  • Oversee development and maintenance of site/yard QA/QC Programs and maintain interfaces with Project Team and Site management and monitor the plans and activities of Site QA/QC and lead periodic audits of the Packages Contractors' QA/QC system.
  • Monitor quality performance and coordinate Project quality reporting.
  • Ensure that concessions and deficiencies are properly documented, processed and reported.
  • Monitor collation of fabrication quality records to assure accurate and efficient collation and ‘on time’ delivery of quality records.



2. Job Title: Construction Supervisor (Structures)

The Service holder has the overall responsibility for the UFR onshore construction activities related to Structural components. These include the following:

  • 3 off Umbilical Arches + Gravity Bases
  • 8 off SHR Foundation Piles
  • 16 off FPSO Suction Foundation Piles Anchors
  • 31 off FLETs, 5 off T-FLET, 13 off ITAs, 1 off PLEM and 1 off SIV.
  • LBMS: 20 off (TBC)
  • Skirted Flowline anchors:10 off (TBC)


Job Responsibilities



  • All structural steel prefabrication, assembly, , NDE, PWHT and dimensional controls as per qualified procedures including primary steel members, secondary steel, platforms to equipment, installation aids and painting in accordance with Approved For Construction drawings, applicable Codes and Standards and Specifications.
  • Supervising a team of SCNL personnel dedicated to subsea structural packages of about 11,500 tons in weight.
  • Reviewing and validating onshore CTR organisation required to supervise these onshore construction activities.
  • Reviewing and analysing the onshore construction schedule and providing feedback to the Construction Superintendent.
  • Assess the suitability or otherwise of CTR assigned workforce in order to provide early warnings regarding construction schedule.
  • Assessing the suitability, availability or otherwise of CTR-assigned equipment and materials required for structural construction activities.
  • Ensuring appropriate coordination and seamless interface with other onshore construction UFR sub-packages in line with the overall SCNL scope of work.
  • Assisting and taking part in all UFR load-out operations at SCNL’s yard as may be required.
  • Ensuring that as-built dossiers comply with all QA/QC requirements.


Service Description



  • Providing weekly and monthly UFR construction updates to the Construction Superintendent.
  • Taking part in daily, weekly and monthly progress review meetings as may be required.
  • Providing inputs to the Construction Superintendent to assist him in the preparation of the UFR close-out reports for the construction activities operations.
  • Liaising with the SCNL UFR Construction Superintendent on a routine basis for the resolution of outstanding issue(s), if any.
  • Providing feedback to the construction superintendent on required level and quality of personnel at any point in time, in order to manage mobilisation and demobilisation of CPY site personnel dedicated to Structural fabrication scope at SCNL.


Requirements



  • Chartered Engineer or similar education level, with a sound Oil & Gas technical background (multi-discipline) in deep offshore construction.
  • Minimum of 10 years working experience in an Oil and Gas industry with a strong background in subsea construction activities.
  • Good knowledge of international subsea design codes / standards and COMPANY general specifications.
  • Proven background in improving quality, procedures, planning, coordination, organization and productivity of the contractors he supervises.
  • A self-motivated natural leader with excellent communication and delegation skills.
  • Credible working relationships within multicultural teams.
  • Fluency in English both verbally and in writing.
  • Passionate about maintaining high standards.
  • Excellent work ethic and must be able to withstand fast-paced high pressure working environments.

  • Provide assistance to the GM Egina SPS and SPS project control manager for all internal / external communications
  • Oversee the administrative task necessary for the running of the SPS Contract; organize registers and filing/archiving systems
  • Prepare with the assistance of SPS team and consolidate the required SPS project reporting to third parties and authorities, such as Partners, NAPIMS, DPR and NCDMB.
  • Assist Contract Engineer in Management of Change process, through the provision of a note, coordinating discipline input.
  • Gather and prepare all necessary Derogation Request to Client HQ; and ensure corresponding follow-up until resolution with Corporate Specialists
  • Support for technical reporting and meetings organization and attendance
  • Monitoring and follow up of technical queries arising from CONTRACTOR and ensure corresponding follow-up until resolution
  • Follow-up of HSE design aspects such as HAZID / HAZOP / PTR findings ensuring that Project Audit results are taken into account in the design
