At a time like this, nigeria our country need us to drop our differences and unite in reassurance to one another, pat our backs and encourage each other.
Fellow patriots, the people that lost their lives today are not just notherners neither are they just from the south. There is no fine line that seperates these people. Among them were xtians and muslims alike.
Great nigerian minds... I need not remind you all that you are among the most intelligent ones this country has produced. No matter how u look at it, u r among the best 10% of your contemporaries... Yes my fellow patriots ur mind is great but I want to ask; hw large is your hrt? Can we swallow our pain at a time like this and join in consoling our future colleagues in the NNPC over the loss of one of our finest gentlemen?
Let's sheat our swords compatriots, just for now.
In the mean time we shall utilize the opportunity to make our petitions known to all relevant authorities. I hav already submitted a complaint to the PCC (the public complaints commission), tomoro, I shall submit a letter to the nnpc requesting a meeting with the GM Human resources so abt 10 of us can go there and make our grieviances known on appointment. I encourage any1 in the house in contact with any member of the NASS investigating the fuel subsidy to swiftly submit the letter by bebrief to them soonest.
We are not afraid neither are we discouraged. We are indomitable and our spirit and resolve can never be crushed. But when we make decisions like this, we only show one thing; that we are Nigerians and and the Nigerian youth is HUMANE. We are considerate and our patriotic spirit is unshaken.
Greatest Nigerian youth, I know this is hard but I beseech you to hold your peace. Let the protest be on hold for now.
Nigeria is our own, we shall protect her.
This case is even beyone GM human resources the politicians are our problem. Where is the venue for Warri branch to protest.
We are running out of time the earlyer the better

As a matter of fact, i find it extreemly hard to discredit the idea of this 'condolence visit'. Maybe it could do us good. Won't be a bad idea to show-face at the designated centres, on blacks or black handbands for those who av traveled to the protest venue already and could not get black dress. Any reasonable human beign will see point in our gardering. We might even gain more sympathy. The inscription on our placards would be fashioned towards using one bird to kill two stones(pls re-arrange) i.e fashioned towards sympatizing with deseased famiies and requesting for our letters/cause of delay.
Even if part of us was/were in the plane, i think it make sense to use the avenue to accord them the last respect and ensure the success of the course they died for. My thought.

now i ndstnd wat an average nigeria youth is made of! wit dis sentimental attitude we cant sieze our future from the hands of this monsters called politicians. peaceful protest is peaceful protest no matter whose ox is gored. aborting 2days protest is only a sign dat we aint got wat it takes to ask for wat belongs 2 us let alone siezn it. wat do u guys mean by sympathy? wat do u guys ndstand by being sensitve? if levi did nt die yesterday wont d protest continue amist d over 50 people dat died in bauchi bomb blast! now i see dat d sensitivity of an average nigerian is selfish. am nt hapy abt his death, i hv always bn his fan since i was 6. al am saying is dat our future is bigger than any individual, some people are saying hold d protest til next wk, dey talk as if dey knw 2mao, wat abt if somthing similar or worst happens next sunday? sure we are going 2 hold it til next 2 wks. my people i was initiated into d strugle of nigeria student right frm d bedrock of militancy (angola Hall OAU) i was made to ndstand rit dia dat struggle has no smilin face! if dey like dey, FG shld fly d flag half way 2day but dnt 4gat dat d same FG has tried 2 remove ur flag and mast from NNPC recruitmnt months ago!

If it has to hold, let it be a condolence visit. Placards should have words like: "NNPC 2010 hopefuls condoles with the NNPC family".... I would suggest it holds tomorrow. At this moment, i don't think we have a concrete plan. Today can be used to restrategized. Bebrief, can we hear from your end sir.
