funny enough i ve read a lot abt pib. It didnt talk abt nnpc stop existng only dat it will run like a private company dat ll depend less on govt and be more transparent. most of its subsidiaries will still remain although agencies like dpr ll change names and hv functions modified. The text of d pib andlots of debates on it are available online. Let avail ourselves opportunity to read. If the recruitment ll be canceld it cant be becos of pib. Patnering is not the same as outright sale.

I just finished an induction programme into the company with the strongest brand in Nigeria/Africa.

@Vin20, Events have overtaken events in this recruitment. It was concluded long ago, but for some egoistic nature of human beings if you like wickedness in high places it has been delayed till now, and eventually events have overtaken events.
There was never a time Nov.2010 Recruitment was designed to be concluded after the passage of PIB, we were supposed to usher in PIB. There was never also a time when the MPR and the NNPC intended to use the Nov 2010 recruitment to score political points for the GEJ led administration, NNPC last employed publicly in 2006. And it is a known fact that enough hands have left the Corporation from that time till now by way of Retirement, greener pastures etc. There will never be a time when the slots for the "HOPEFULS" will be sandwiched to the NASS and the Political class to soft pedal on the subsidy probe, there is no match. The subsidy probe is investigating about N1.04 trillion Naira of Nigerian money lost to THIEVES and you talk about using NNPC or DPR appointment to quench the probe. No basis for that, l tell you no basis for that. 2012 Budget has been past and signed into law, other clean MDA's are employing and they have started implementing their budget. Fellow "HOPEFULS", we will not seat down and watch. why has the NNPC refused to call successful "HOPEFULS". I will tell you. To me l think it is wickedness, wickedness of the highest order and in the highest places. This is not even corruption again, this is higher than corruption. If it were Corruption, at least they would have released the list and then you will see strange names who were not even invited to write the test in March 2011 been employed. so this is not a question of corruption, it is WICKEDNESS.

There must be a CLEANSING, a spiritual rebirth of this great nation, what is happening in this country is worst than corruption. It is absolute WICKEDNESS. There are no reasons under the heavens why the NNPC will not have released the offer letters, no reasons whatsoever.
While the "HOPEFULS" slept, someone sowed tares among the wheat and they have now grown together, the wheat is been choked by the tares now. We will leave them, but at harvest time they will and shall be separated. Guard your hearts with all diligence for out of it are the issues of life, let not your faith stagger in unbelief. Your faith will pull through with or without the NNPC.
Have you ever been so close and yet denied? For every single individual or group of individuals that have decided to treat the "HOPEFULS" in this manner by omission or by commission, you will not be spared.
Lord of host by your name JEHOVAH we know you, spare no one. If the present board refuses to call the "HOPEFULS", who passed through diverse situations and circumstances to get this far, JEHOVAH in your anger flush them out. Usher in a new board, and let their first mandate be settling this pending issue in Jesus name AMEN.

I for one don,t see the list coming out this month, since the pib will be in national assembly by june, i have programmed my mind to june. That,s my take or stand about this recruitment process,having said this GEJ and madam are confused bcos just compiling different version of the bill is taking them over 3month.
