We must be ready to fight the battle of the 2nd batch if we must get it bcos I know strongly that God who created human beings in the universe including us and NNPC management , must release this 2nd batch in a short time.
Clamouring from different quarters was part of it my brother. We all knew how long it took b4 that 1st batch came out, I know something must happen on the 2nd batch sooner though i didn't have any particular date but it must be.

The rationale behind the new advert isn't yet clear to me, pls people should explain. Is is NNPC's normal recruitment exercise or bcos PIB will soon be debated upon from next week NA resumes bcos the 2010 process is yet to be completed based on the news of 2nd batch or atomicity's dream must be looked at critically?

Many people here are just sore losers. Its common knowledge that Nigerian Universities churn out half-baked graduates every year. These graduates actually lack very good theoritical foundation. They read only to pass examinations and not really to add knowledge and value. This is typical of most engineering graduates. what they have left after graduation is residual knowledge. You see them on job boards/fora asking for past questions and test formats whenever they are shortlisted to take a test. They expect to perform wonderfully after this fire-brigade preparation approach. People are recruited based on compentencies they can demonstrate they possess, this has nothing to do with having a 2.1 or first class. You see them getting all religious, turning job vacancy threads to fellowship meetings and prayer rooms.The sensible ones focus on getting better and read daily to update their knowledge. So you believe the 595 people who got in did so with political connect? Wake up!!! Focus on getting better, opportunity favours the prepared man. Coming here to whine about recruitment policies will not make you better neither will it get you a job. Change your perception and fix yourself, those who got the jobs are humans too.

You have really done well in this thread and it won't be nice to end your reputation in bad light.
If we follow your comments line by line we may deduce alot of things that are not consistent with faith and trust on your reliable source.
Also one can sense desperation,which is not bad afterall.
But mind you,we are all 'desperate' at different levels for this 2nd list.But calm down so you can pray and build up your faith.
All the questions we ask here are 'rhetoric' since the people to give us the correct answers are not here or may be attacked if they venture an answer.
I visit this thread almost every other day,not because I cannot get annoyed and say to hell with NNPC,but because I have a point of faith to prove.
If God promises it,He will bring it to pass even when all permutations seems to suggest all doors are closed.
I never wanted to apply for this new advert but my confidants encouraged me to,since I do not know how God wants to work.I also encourage as many that are qualified here to apply.
I have my own permutations and questions to ask,but it won't help this forum,so I shut up my mouth.However, even the posts people see as 'silly' are very useful,atleast it makes me laugh off the workload pressure which will soon end.
I think I like the maturity and definiteness of Terraco's info and the audacity of atomicity's dreams & predictions.They may turn out true or otherwise,but I like the consistency.
