HR OFFICER

  • Administers recruitment tests for potential employees/ induction of staff
  • Monitors and maintains employee records using a digital and physical HRIS
  • Organises training and development programmes for employees
  • Carries out industrial relations function by liaising between staff and management
  • Enforces disciplinary measures on all staff according to laid down guidelines
  • Implements the performance management system
  • Carries out staff exit functions (resignation, suspension, termination, dismissal)
  • Manages staff leave schedule and updates databases accordingly
  • Implements staff welfare and compensation schemes
  • Payroll preparation/ salary schedule a monthly basis for payment by the accounts department, maintains confidential records of the payroll with softcopy backups
  • Ensure smooth running of manpower contracts
ACCOUNT OFFICER
  • Ensure strict adherence to approved accounting guidelines and procedures
  • Supervise cash/cheque collection and disbursement
  • Liaise with banks and other third parties on finance related matters
  • Conduct treasury management and ensure the payment of appropriate taxes
  • Meet daily fund requirements of every department
  • Manages cashflow, internal cash disbursements and other related payment to suppliers and other third parties / Directs the coding of bank vouchers
  • Raises journals and postings into the accounting system / Ensures that financial transactions are properly tracked by way of documentation
  • Reports daily cash and bank positions and maintains cash and bank records
  • Reconciles bank statements on a monthly basis
QUALIFICATION:
Bsc, Economics, Accounting, Business Administration from a recognized University with a Minimum of 2-3 years Experience. A Master / Professional Exam Certificate holder (ICAN, ANAN, and CIPM) will be an added advantage
