    Forget about DPR

The problem of most Nigerians is that we refuse to face realities. To get DPR , NARSDA , NOSDA......All those govt. jobs, you need connection . Even at NARSDA test we were even recorded by a cameraman as a proof that they actually conducted exams . Only for my friend in NARSDA telling me later that some were doing clearance at the time we were writing exams. As for me I have decided to stay alone because of politics everywhere.

@mogul;that is just the truth. In 2007 i did same DPR test and after going through series of test and the final interview, to my surprise people that got offer letters didn't even go through the interview with us as i was told by one of the managers.it's all political lobbying. You see how the test was conducted so thats how the selection will be.They are not organised, it's all political.

Staying on your own, is it the solution?

@Tripple-C.....that is a million dollar question.

We will continue to apply hoping for the best, believing that some day, based on merit, we'll get selected as well.

    Re: Forget about DPR

My advice is that one who should put anything much into trying to get a job in a govt. parastatal. When I say put in anything much I mean things like time, money, resources and even hope. As far as naija is concerned 4 now, all positions r already filled b4 adverts r placed in our national dailies. In fact they already have more internal names than the available positions so they even have to use status of who dropped the name to decide the names to be dropped from the final list.

We should never give up anyway. Keep on praying and believeing. Maybe one day some1 will make a mistake a drop ur name instead of his/her son's/daughter's name or a spirit will go and write ur name in the final list at night. Nothing is impossible especially here in naija. So keep ur hopes up.
    Nothing ventured, nothing gained!
