slb also recruits 2.1. But I must admit, they recruit first class majorly. Maybe it's their way of sorting the many applications they receive. In addition, they recruit a lot of HNDs for specialist positions.
Prepare a good CV, highlight as many field experiences, overseas opportunities and previous O&G work (internship, etc.) as possible. It could happen.
Meanwhile, Geoservices is not the main drilling arm. It's Anadrill. And people often say it's the best arm you can work for in Nigeria. Geoservices is mud-logging.

@saeur...thanks for correctin me..I hav actually work in anadril transamadi- schlum drilling and measurement arm...sure I wil highlight it in my CV and reapply..I m sure I can fit into a directional drilling or wireline position

i have been apply too with a 2.1 but no response yet, i don't really know their requirement.

Slb,recruits 2.1 uni n even hnd.but even afta app test,more reference n previlage is given 2 1st class(uni) n distinction(poly) 1st.for example,if a distinction n a upper credit candidate pass d test n lets say just 1 person is needed,sori 4d upper credit guy o.i am a livin witness.
