Our client in the upstream oil & gas sector requires suitably qualified and experienced professionals to fill the following vacancies in the organization.
Job Scope:

Review and identify gaps in ware housing current procurement and warehousing processes and structures within the Corporation; redesign the processes to met best practice and create a Procurement/Material/Supply Chain department.



Job Responsibility:
To develop a procurement/Material/Supply chain strategy for prompt filling of equipment request.
Design and develop procedures and processes that will align with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system.
Coordinate the activities required in integrating the processes and procedures into the ERP system
Coordinate and Plan required training of personnel
Responsible for Contract Administration of procurement coordination procedures and develop project plans for Contract mgt, Purchasing, Invoicing, Expediting etc.
Responsible for development of Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) defining commercial and technical roles & responsibilities for the Corporation’s Contractor Procurement
To manage reimbursable procurement work scopes from Procurement Planning through Purchase Order Placement, Expediting and Delivery to Fabrication Yards



Requirement:
Minimum 1st Degree in Mechanical Engineer or purchasing related discipline
Minimum 8 years experience in Oil & Gas environment with responsibility for procurement
Technical Applications: SPIKE, JDE
Previous experience setting up a full fledge procurement department is essential
Excellent written and oral communication skills.
Office Applications: Proficient in MS Project, MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
Ability to interface with other internal support functions including HR, Legal, Tax, Risk Mgt and Global services procurement.
