One of the major players in the maritime sector, with head office in Ikoyi Lagos requires the service of a highly resourceful and self motivated individual with the required Knowledge, Skills and Ability to fill the position of a PERSONAL ASSISTANT TO THE CHAIRMAN.

Responsibilities



  • Attend to the Chairman’s mails and promptly reply the mails, if need be.
  • Organize and maintain diaries and make appointments for the Chairman.
  • Deal with incoming emails, faxes and posts; often correspond on behalf of the Chairman.
  • Arrange travel and accommodation; and occasionally travel with the Chairman to take notes at meetings or to provide general assistance during presentations.
  • Carry out background research on projects and present findings to the Chairman.
  • Liaise with clients, suppliers and other staff on Chairman’s behalf.
  • Source and order stationery and other office equipment.
  • Carry out other Personal Assistant related duties.
  • Perform other duties assigned



Qualifications and experience



  • Must be a graduate from a recognized University.
  • Knowledge of the following is a must: Corel Draw 12-15; Adobe Photoshop; Microsoft word, Excel & PowerPoint; a good idea of web design & Programming.
  • Must have good communication skills both written and verbal.
  • Must be highly organized and detail oriented.
  • Must be flexible and ready to multitask.
  • Must possess problem solving skills to be able to take initiative.
  • Must have at least three years experience as a Personal Assistant to a top management executive.
  • Experience in Maritime will be an advantage.
