REQUIREMENTS FOR APPLICANTS
• Should have a minimum of B.Sc/HND in Engineering.
• A minimum of 10 years experience in E&P (Operations & Maintenance).
• Working experience in E&P commissioning planning and execution. Good background knowledge of oil and gas processing, EP Operations, process management.
• Demonstrable hands-on experience of operating successfully in a complex Gas Compression/Processing Plants.
• Good communication, inter-personal and leadership skills. Familiarity with project safety systems and design studies, e.g. HAZOP, HAZID, SAFOP, FIREPRAN, etc.
• Experience in the preparation and implementation of HSE Management Systems and HSE cases.
• Good analytical skills and a sense of reality.
• A strong team player.
• Capable of managing the link between Contractors and the equipment Vendors /Manufacturer to ensure that the facilities are built in compliance with Client Group standards and Client HSSE policies.
• Good technical and communication (including written) skills.
• Strong conceptual innovative thinking with technical and analytical skills.

DESCRIPTION
The Senior Technical Author and Commissioning Interface Engineer is responsible for the following on the project:
• Coordinate the authoring of key Commissioining procedures, manuals and programme.
• Interface with major stakeholders (Asset Managers; Operations Support Coordinator; SODA Chief Engineer; M&I Lead, Production Coordinators; Discipline Engineers; Operations Readiness Engineers; Commissioning Engineers; Execution Leads; HSE Advisors; Contracting & Procurement Advisors) in order to ensure that their inputs are captured in all project documents prior to Commissioning of the Project.
• The incumbent in conjuction with the CSU will implement all aspects of the Planning, Pre-commissioning, Commissioning, Performance and Reliability Testing activities of all facilities to ensure conformance to the design parameters and the operations philosophy.
• Work with the Contractor to ensure O&M staffs are trained adequately to enhance flawless commissioning.
• Actively participate in the integrated commissioning and start-up activities required to ensure the safe and timely start up of the facilities on schedule.
• Work with the FPD Coordinator in ensuring that the Flawless Project Delivery Process is appropriately implemented for the project.
