Please ignore my earlier post. I don't have 100% proof that it leaked and don't want to be seen as a rumour monger. Let's assume for now that nothing happened until/unless someone else has proof that it did.

Has any earth scientist been called for Oral interview?

No earth scientist or petroleum engineer has been called yet.

Please does any one have an idea what the Interview will look Like, anything to take note of? and if this is the last stage in all.
Cos since People started saying they were called for interview, I have not heard much what to expect, this is not usually the case

Any hope for people yet to be invited for the interview?... Just feeling that there may still be another round of invitation to cut across the remaining FE, alongside PE and ES.

I wasn't invited for the Chevron interview, that is not to say i ddnt do my research in hope that i will be invited.

From the couple of ppl i asked, who work in Chevron and have been to these interviews b4, listed below are their pointers:

1. u have to look smart and relaxed

2. u have to have at ur finger tips, interesting stories or scenerios where u have displayed each of the skills listed for the job role u applied for. take for instance-

Facilities Engineering (Electrical) whose required skills are:

- Demonstrated knowledge of relevant electrical standards and practices
- Ability to prepare electrical load, load flow and short circuit calculations for oil and gas facilities
- Excellent planning and coordinating skills
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills

Use the S- Situation, T- Task A - Action R- Result approach to tel ur stories. Even if u haven't worked b4, u should be able to relate to ur days during Industrial Training or the university...


3. Try and communicate confidence, leadership and people relation skills in ur mannerisms.

4. Have 2 great questions up ur sleeves when given the opportunity e.g "are women given equal opportunity to grow in this field as much as men?" or "i would like to know what it has been like for u working in Chevron" or "anyother thing u may have read in the news concerning Chevron Nigeria Limited"...

Good luck guys, give it ur best shot and prove to us why u were invited for the interview!
