House, I have a question. It may sound silly though. Is it necessary to wear a suit for the interview or will a shirt do?

What I do is to call/email and find out what sort they will need.
If that doesn't work, I wear a suit. Most Engineering company suit or not might not make a difference, but for your own saety except you hear otherwise, wear a suit.
The only time you can be "over-dressed" for an interview is if it EXPLICITLY states that you should come casual in the invite.Quote:
