    Those that know the test format should please make it available. Your NHJs need info! This is why we are one!

    Re: Baker Hughes Test Format

    @ All..Useful tip for Baker Hughes Test

    There are questions on basic chemistry, physics, basic thermodynamics, basic
    maths with word problems, some basic english too.

    Example questions lyk.. wats d common name for BaSO4=Barite or barium sulphate;
    NaCl=common salt; H2SO4=sulphuric acid.

    You shud also revise ur engineering drawing too... plan, end elevation and front
    elevation. pay attention to hw 2 recognize hidden details (ie with broken
    lines). if dont av engineering background, look 4 somebody with one 2 put u
    thru..

    There are drilling fluids questions i can remember and they are...

    calculate PV(Plastic viscosity) = ?600 – ?300 (U will b given the values for
    dial readings at 600rpm and 300rpm)

    calculate YP(Yield point) =?300-PV

    Define gel strength of a drilling fluid: the force of attraction between between
    fluid under a static condition.

    Define PV: a measure of resistance to flow in drilling fluids.

    Define YP: the force of attraction between fluids under flowing conditions.

    Barite is used as a weighting material (i.e to increase the density of a
    drilling fluid)

    bentonite is used to increase its viscosity

    This is the pretty much i can remember 4now...
    Take care and GoodLuck.

    Forget about gate crashing. You would only succeed in wasting your time and transport fare.
