    Did anyone in house receive this type of mail from Ap oilfeild services.

    Attention Candidate,
    As a result of your application in the 2012 APOSL training programme your
    name has been short listed as one of the trainee to participate in the management
    training programme.
    The programme is designed to train and develop indigenous Nigerian
    jobseekers to competence levels required for the oil and gas industry.
    THE PROGRAMME
    The programme will last for 18months at three of our location namely Rivers State,
    Lagos State and Delta State respectively. The training programme will be
    academically challenging and intensive with many practical assignments and
    evening work. Continuous assessment and appraisals of trainees will take place
    during the period of training.
    The programme is divided into five disciplines as follows:
    1. Electrical/Operations (Ref. ELECT.1)
    2. Mechanical/Operations (Ref. MECH.2)
    3. Instrumentation/Operations (Ref. INSTR.3)
    4. Accounting (Ref.ACCT.4)
    5. Marketing (Ref .MARKTN.4)
    The APOSL/2 programme is City and Guild accredited, and on successful
    completion graduands shall be awarded the City and Guild of London
    Institute Certificate, in addition to the APOSL Certificate of attendance.
    APOSL TRAINING CONDITIONS
    All short listed trainees will be given an allowance to cover incidental
    expenses and short listed candidates will commence training on the 9th
    Septembert, 2012. APOSL will recruit from the pool of trainees who
    successfully complete the programme. During the training, trainees will be
    employees of APOSL and will be bonded to work for APOSL upon
    completion of the programme.
    RESUMPTION DATE
    You are to resume duty at the above establishment on the 9th September, 2012.
    Details of the training programme will be found in the hardcopy of the
    employment documents which will be sent to you via dhl courier service after
    scrutinizing your documents.
    SALARY STRUCTURE
    Basic Salary…….. 200,000 /month (Two hundred thousand naira monthly)
    Training Allowance……25,000/monthly (Twenty-five thousand naira monthly)
    Accommodation………FREE
    Complete details will be found in the hard copy of the employment documents to be
    sent to candidate via DHL courier service.
    REQUIREMENTS
    You are required to submit the below listed requirements to APOSL on or before
    8th of August, 2012 for scrutinisation and confirmation.
    1. Photocopies of your credentials/certificates.
    2. Sized Photo Passport (2).
    3. HSE Competent Three (Certificates).
    HEALTH, SAFETY & ENVIRONMENT (HSE)
    Due to the law mandated by the Nigeria Petroleum Regulatory Body ,all short
    listed candidate or any employee in any of the oil and gas industry in Nigeria
    MUST be HSE certified before accepted as an employee of the company.
    Candidates that are not HSE certified must register with any APOSL accredited
    HSE institute for HSE trainings.

    I really took some time to check the logo and found out that there is a big difference in the logo. The web address,http://apoilfield-ng. and the email address info@apoilfield-ng. is not the same with AP oilfields services limited. Pls beware of scam.

    @sammie77, no doubt, this is a scam mail, but i guess u missed the point, the poster was only asking for clarification, u need not to have insulted him.

    It is actually good that the poster put this is up. A lot of people will actually fall for cheap scams like this because the aim of the scammer is to get people to register for the so-called "HSE" certificate in order to get employment. That's where they'll make a killing from gullible people.

    If you have never applied to a company, they will NEVER offer you employment without you going through the normal interviewing stages. IF you receive bogus emails like this, just delete em.

    it a scam its a duplicate of the SITP/2 Addmision letter the place they put shell was change to APOSL.GUY RUN away o

    @sammie77,i posted a mail sent to me for the house to verify the authenticity of it and u re saying that i am sick and needs prayers for mental healing, why? never expected a thing like this from u. you of all people. u better apologize.

    No sensible business man can pay a trainee an average of 225,000/month. Oil firms engaging trainees train them on safety too. Safety trainings are even about the cheapest one can afford in oil and gas. This is purely scam

    @dikayaoo, I am of the opinion that sammie77 never intended the insult to be for you, I think the intention was for the person that sent you the message. So, I am sure you understand. Again, this is also to let us understand that we should try to control ourselves from impulse. bcos we may just utter what we never wanted to.
