Abeg, kindly shed more light on the type of questions to be expecting for the skill test. Thanks
-
Re: 2012 ExxonMobil Engineering Recruitment (Trainee and Experienced Professionals)
So they have been using the same skills test for the past 7 years. Interesting... I hope we we get to that point someone will do well to share the questions for all so that everyone will be on the same playing field.
Nigeria; Good people, Great Nation :D

Re: 2012 ExxonMobil Engineering Recruitment (Trainee and Experienced Professionals)
you guys just gave guys at exxonmobil's HR a chance to cancel the whole process and do it some times later. I bet we will hear from them soon after those yet to do their test are done with it.
There is no way they can continue with this without tarnishing their recruitment image.
Any how may those who deserve the jobs get them.

This is not only a sensible remark but a good one, some people act like they are in primary school kids here, crying cheat, foul, I have applied to Shell SITP program, not once I was even invited for a test,Chevron,Haliburton you name it,these employers are not fair in their recruitment as well.so who the are you to be crying what is fair and what is not in Nigeria? A friend of mine once said "It is a criminal offence to be a good guy in a bad society, just like it is an offence to do bad in a good society".
People wrote NNPC exams, they weren't employed,I could testify of my friend a girl that was in the UK holidaying, whose father had retired from NNPC and asked her to come and work, she came back and she was just employed without test or interview, well of course someone's slot must have been taken after going thru series of painstaking tests and interviews, only to be told he didn't make it. What is fair? Just like what someone said previously in the forum, lets all have the question and let us all be in the same playing field level, some can possess this same expo and would still write it on paper to the hall (the very dull ones), while some that have a very good retentive memory will go to the hall with just their brains and pass, so Admin if u know u removed it please put it back on because you are cheating those that don't have it, u are urself not being fair here.

Re: 2012 ExxonMobil Engineering Recruitment (Trainee and Experienced Professionals)
some of you say the thgs you say on this forum because your identities are hidden. You want to leaders with cheating and corruption written all over you. When some have the opportunity to travel abroad they prefer to remain abroad and do menial self degrading jobs because the place is developed. Please let us be the change we want. A better Nigeria starts with you.

I have never being an advocate of past questions and I'll never be.
About your applications to most of the O&G coys, you are not the only one in that boat. I myself applied for several O&G coys but none invited me for a test. All my mates were invited with the exception of me. However, I pushed forward; I went as far as writing the HR of one of the services coys that I would like to partake in the recruitment. Next day I was invited, blasted the tests, blasted the assessment centre, then what happened on the last I will never forget in my life. The interview was as if I was in a Grand Slam playing against Roger Federer, Rafael Nadal, Williams Sisters, all the tennis greats teaming up together against an amateur player just trying to register his make his dream come true. Let's cut the long story short, I lost in that battle. However, we need to think beyond joining the bad guys, we can defeat the bad guys and make them turn a new leaf. It is possible. I believe God favours his warriors.
Judaxx(not Judas but Jude), please avoid malpratice. O & G jobs are not the end of the world.

In order words you've never used SSCE, JAMB or any past question? Now I understand those sending these sickening emails to Exxon. These companies have risk assessments of their recruitment processes and a computer based test with leaked question is trivial, trust me.
Some more people have been invited for the test and they'll answer random questions from the same database pool. I'm writing mine later - I haven't seen the question and I still need it sent to me ([email protected] if anyone cares). Even if I don't get it, I can still pass or fail. But what I can't do is send emails to HR about things they know already

Re: 2012 ExxonMobil Engineering Recruitment (Trainee and Experienced Professionals)
EXPO KO EXPO NI.
Passed d very 1st dragnet test I took last year irrespective of who had cheat questions. I think I even prefer competing with those with backup questions than those with backup personnel in any establishment.
If u guys whinning here about expo allow it to affect your prep and performance, then I can only pity u all cos mobil would nt want to waste resources rescheduling an aptitude test; especially when there's still skills test ahead.

Guy/Girl, i believe you do not understand the plight of those complaining. There is absolutely nothing wrong with past questions or requesting for past questions. This should be the norm. I believe dragnet even has sample questions on their websites. Every examiner/exam should give an intending candidate an idea of what to expect in the exam. Imagine going to an exam expecting simple algebra and then it turns out to partial differential equations?
What most people do not like is the fact that some people had access to the EXACT questions due to people taking screenshots of the exam. Of course, some dull people will still fail the exam even with the expo. But one thing i can guarantee you is that if you are smart, and you see the questions before the exam, there is no way you should score less than 99%. The only tasking part in the exam is the verbal which requires you to read fast and answer fast/accurately. Every other thing should be cheap if you really did "make" a 2.1 and above in school.
If you take two equally brilliant students and give them the same exam while giving one candidate prior access to the exam, who do you think will perform better? If the exam was not a fast paced one, no one would care because expo or no expo, you should be able to blast the exam. The major concern is that most people who went in without expo probably DID NOT FINISH THE QUESTIONS. This is supposed to be the norm. I'm getting tired. I'll continue my story later.

Re: 2012 ExxonMobil Engineering Recruitment (Trainee and Experienced Professionals)
Me just dey laff tehehehe, when i get to benin tomorrow i will get the koko from my junior brother, i am not an advocate for expo, but what i have learnt in life is dat u don't have to dull yourself when others are acting smart. I have a job, but my desire is to be in the oil n gas section. But lets be sincere do u think in this 9ja corrupt state when a house of assembly member is taking bribe and denying it we are actually in a sane society?
People have the questions and answers to this tests, someone in this forum was selling them and u expect me to turn my blind side and allow others use it to gain undue advantage over me,like chief zebrudiaya would say "fou, fou, fou, foooul".my beef is why did admin remove it? If i have it,i will pass it on for free to everyone who wants it,let everything jaburata, let us all pass.
I confirmed the questions that i have with the one i wrote at the chevron technicians dragnet test it benin, and whao they were the same, word for word.i asked my brother who wrote the test and he said it was the same question they asked.
The verbal reasoning:
-a chinese emperor's tomb some farmer discovered in china while searching for water wells(something about xin) if u google it u will see it.read it all online so that even at the hall u won't have to read much bcos u have the whole story from online
-malaria in africa, world health org.(who),how its been killing children, methods of preventing it,usage of ddt and nets etc.
-new found ways of medicine, synthetic and conventional ways, how effective it is for treatment and how the producers are hoarding it to maximize profits from their sales before releasing it commercially to the public at a cheaper price.
-new methods of alternate fuel.fossil fuel from algae in dirty water vs hydrocarbon fuel.
I cant remember it all,but i try na one remain when i no put.
Normally these passages are extracts from journals or write ups,but if u can have an idea of the story from google,u don't have to spend plenty time reading, just cut the chase and answer the questions.
Admin release the questions jare,no dey yab urself.gingerswagg uploaded them initially, abi admin na u dey sell the questions so?
Remember,u will select 2 answers from a question of five options,so if u fail one,u fail the question.
Best of luck,i wasn't invited.i am expect chevron experience engineers,so i need the questions to fully prepare.my brother should have them sha.

Re: 2012 ExxonMobil Engineering Recruitment (Trainee and Experienced Professionals)

Re: 2012 ExxonMobil Engineering Recruitment (Trainee and Experienced Professionals)
Nigeria fell because of corrupt past leaders.
Nigeria is falling deeper because the current leaders believe maintaining the status quo.
Nigeria will continue to fall because the future leaders prefer to remain ignorant, they prefer to do worse than their predecessors.
Yet we complain and whine about how under developed we have become. On Friday, we move to the mosques to hit our heads on the floor; on Sunday we troop to the Church to shout Alleluia.

judaxx, u sounded so vague and empty. U didnt impress me and i belief many others wt ur babblng. For ur information, i wrote d test on sat and i can remember only one of d passages u mentiond in ur last post. Why not hone ur comprehension skill instead of boastng abt ur cheatng skill and encouragng same here? Who told u d passages could not change btw now and when u write d chevron test most especially in d light of alegatn already leveld against dragnet? U re so sure dragnet ll do nothng. Pls wake up and be smart. Ur chosen path ultimately lead 2 frustratn. CHANGE NOW!!!

Re: 2012 ExxonMobil Engineering Recruitment (Trainee and Experienced Professionals)
pls u guys should make these materials public so that all graduates will play the test on a level ground. I hope they don't repeat those questions for chevron. Its a real shame on dragnet having high calibre client with no pool of questions. hope they learn from these.

hmmmm, see the great divide Naija has found herself in, with no end in sight cos we are the same crop that will take over from the current stock of leadership both in the private, public and religious settings, imagine the great divide between extremes, and everyone of us seems justified in our own eyes, now we have been polarised very largely in our perception of good, bad, and evil...RIght wing and left wing extremes, all justified in their own way, what is the way forward?
which way Nigeria?
-
Re: 2012 ExxonMobil Engineering Recruitment (Trainee and Experienced Professionals)
i weep for Naija...o, it has become very clear that she's got no foundation. See the supposed leaders of 2mao, hw dey failng a simple test of morals, integrity nd honesty. I wrote that test with all satisfaction, I answered 13 questions in verbal, 16 questions in numerical nd 15 questions in abstract. I don't tick when I'm nt sure. So I was expecting @ least 60 percnt, in a conservative note. But since this paper leaking scandal came up, I've forgotten d test; let d supper cheaters nd those with long arms go get d job. I'm currently working for a multinational firm in d oil sector. U guys need to see shell staff commisioned to supervise a huge project: simple English is difficult. I know who I am in terms of intelligence; being unsucceful with all dese damn job test wouldn't make me look down on myself. But I need to remind those guys callng for d materials to be displayed that 'two wrongs can never make it right'. What has happened is not fair at all and it should be condemned.

I am humbly second the motion... Which way Nigeria...
It is sad to note that we are not even proffering solutions rather we are like the proverbial man who says to himself even if it is bad lemme do my own after all no be me start am.... Leaders of tomorrow, kindly rethink our actions and inactions for the sake of the unborn generation....
