TERMS OF REFENRENCE OF GENERAL MANAGER (GM) Conduct self in an appropriate manner as a representative of Fair Plus International Limited, working effectively in a diverse environment · Ensure cost efficient delivery of sale, punctual, and reliable service across all operating stations · Identify, Validate and implement new opportunities for improved performance for safety, efficiency, and profitability, working with AGM's to share improvements and best practice, · Actively participate in safety meetings, and initiatives, and monitor the effective use of injury preventive programs · To participate actively in the management of transport union relationship through consultations and negotiations · To ensure positive working relationships are maintained in and all the stations and to improve and enhance performance · Liaise and represent the company with external bodies with the aim of improving service delivery performance where appropriate, the GM will act as the liaison officer with Local Councils · Take responsibility for the preparation and accuracy of the annual budget for the Business Units · To adhere to all companies policies and procedures · To undertake any training and development activities at the request of your line manager · To comply with and support the company injury prevention policies and initiatives REQUIREMENTS:
MUST be a first degree holder from a reputable higher institution
Ten years working experience from a road Transport Company is a MUST
Experience in cargo service will be an added advantage
MUST not be more than 45 years of age.
SKILLS
Strong proficiency in the use of computer software
Strong analytical reasoning with good decision making prowess
