I also applied to the same department, i mean Economics, there was no interview whatsoever. Just keep your fingers crossed and do not relent in being kept posted. The list should be on UI's website hopefully this week according to UI PG School. All the best.

I also applied for the same dept.i heared that the admission was purely based on merit.breakdown of the list is:
70 students admitted
60 are first class
10 second class upper
with this, you can gauge your chances of been admitted. I've seen my name though.

D rumor must hav bin poorly concocted

I think d successful candidates are going to be contacted individually. i'm referring to d depts dat were not on d released admission list. I just got a msg from dept of english; telling me to report at d dept on or b4 jan 24th to accept d admission offer.

This long silence and disregard for the University Academic calendar by the U.I PG school make me sick of the entire Nigerian Education system......It is well may God help us

I checked my admission status yesterday,in my status i saw admission letter ready.house wat is d next thin to do.

Go to the PG school with all ur cert. for clearance, then u collect the letter
