Description :
A leading bank in Nigeria is looking out for a Strategy Initiation Manager for their Strategy Department. Candidates from a global strategy consulting firm are at advantage.



Core Responsibilities will be

- To develop a robust corporate strategy that articulates the Bank's strategic aspiration.
- Assist business unit in the development of their SBU strategy and ensure alignment with the corporate strategy.
- Liaise with internal and external parties to achieve this objective.






Qualifications :
Required knowledge, skills and abilities- Grade Band for this role is DM – SM, preferably a Manager
· Experience in leading strategy cases (crafting hypothesis, developing appropriate questions to ask, defining approach, etc).
· Knowledge of basic banking operations
· Strong financial modeling skills.
· Ability to prepare quality decks (presentations).
· Global strategy consulting firms would be a preference
· Good Negotiation/ Presentation skills
· Computer Skills
· Organization & coordination

· Strong analytical capabilities.
· Excellent Interpersonal Skills
· Excellent Oral & Written Communication
· Fast learner and ability to multi-task and work under pressure.

Supervisory Skills
Leadership and managerial capabilities, Team building / conflict management, Coaching, Leadership / Influencing, (Ability to supervise; impart knowledge on subordinates and work well in a team).
Experience- Minimum of 7years experience in a Strategy Consulting Firm, with at least 2years in a managerial role.



Qualification- A first degree, MBA would provide an added advantage.
