How To Register and Use PocketMoni

PocketMoni is available in two channels.

1. Menu driven mobile software which runs on java enabled phones.

2. You will receive SMS containing your default pin. Click on the link in the SMS to download the PocketMoni application.

3. Install the application and input the following:
· Your Mobile number
· Default pin (PIN contained in the SMS sent to you)
· Memorable word (user’s defined password)
· Network provider

Follow the instruction to complete your registration. Please note you need to change your PIN from service menu to commence transactions successfully. User can also redo the set-up by using the 'change-setup' option (under 'utilities') under the 'Services' menu if the registration failed.

All transactions are menu driven.



Using SMS/IVR

1. Send an SMS with “REG FIRSTNAME LASTNAME 003066” (e.g REG JOHN MARK 003066) to the short code – 20220 (from any network). For Glo network, send to 31030.

2. Text CH to 20220 (from any network). Then you will receive a call requesting you to enter your old PIN (default pin received in the SMS) and new PIN.

Additional Information on the Using the SMS-IVR Channel This channel enables you to do transactions by sending a designated command to the short code for your mobile operator. When you initiate a transaction, you get a call back from a voice response which prompts for your PIN to authenticate the transaction. This happens for every transaction.

A PocketMoni account can be funded in 4 ways:

Walk into M-Cube Global Solutions and fund your account. Look out for the PocketMoni Logo/icon or “PocketMoni Accepted Here” sign. Also see www.pocketmoni.com for a list of other agent locations.

2. Cash deposit at any PocketMoni partner Banks
Walk into any PocketMoni partner bank branch i.e SKYE, FCMB, UBA, FIRST BANK, ACCESS, ZENITH, GTB, FIDELITY, KEYSTONE, UNION, etc and fill out a form, hand over form to the teller and your PocketMoni account will be credited. Ensure you get a confirmation order from the teller or you will receive an SMS from eTranzact confirming the payment .

3. Transfer from an eTranzact-powered card - debit or prepaid which has been added to the PocketMoni service by the cardholder.

4. Transfer from another PocketMoni user
