Logistics Manager is needed in a multinational company with offices in 36 countries.

The Logistics Manager role is core to support our operations in Nigeria and provide the necessary support to the Logistics department and the organisation as a whole. This role is dynamic and thus requires a person to be cooperative and also receptive to instructions and demands as operations requirements dictate. The Logistics Manager reports to the Operations Manager.

Duties & Responsibilities:?To report to Operation Manager on all Logistics activities relating to the company.?

? To co-ordinate all manpower logistics, flights, local transport and accommodation / Hotel.
? To advise Operation Manager on a regular basis of current Logistics activities & new procedure in the office.
? Administration of personnel visa’s Status & Quota Slot position.
? Coordination of documents for Visa’s processing of personnel to embassy
? Administration of all Monthly immigration returns of Personnel and matter
? To hold regular Logistics meetings with Junior staff prior to Monthly general Management Meeting
? To ensure all contractor man hours / timesheets are duly collected and handover to accounts department for invoicing.
? To ensure Payment of local allowances are transferred to contractors? To ensure Meet and Greet staff are in transit prior to Personnel arrival
? To Liaise with Immigration officials for Visa’s /resident permit of contractors
? To ascertain Logistics staff arrange security escorts when necessary
? To ensure maintenance schedule for company Vehicle are executed by staff.
? To Liaise with Contractors on a regular basis for their welfare.? To ensure accommodation Routine check is execute by staff.
? Inspection of all logistics documents down load in Sever if accurate
? Any other Task(s) assigned by Operation Manager or Senior Managers in the organization.
