Our client, CourierPlus Limited is a top quartile Courier firm recently acquired by a dynamic group of companies. Due to on-going re-engineering and transformation, the organization seeks qualified candidates to fill the following key positions:
1. BUSINESS (SALES) MANAGERS (Positions in Lagos)
Directly reporting to the Business Development Manager, the business manager's main focus is to win, grow and retain customers.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES
Strong sales and client relationship management skills
Excellent customer service skills
Entrepreneurial mind-set

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
At least 5 years cognate experience in sales and marketing in courier and logistics industry with proven record of revenue target achievement. Minimum of a Bachelor's degree or HND.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsible for developing and expanding sales of all courier services in specific industries
Maintain good and profitable relationship with all customers and other stakeholders
Key account Management

2. FLEET MANAGER
Reporting to the Head of Operations
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Minimum of First Degree/ Higher diploma in transport management or mechanical engineering. Ideal candidate must also possess the following attributes:
At least 5 years experience in a similar position
Possession of strong organizational skills for prioritizing workload
Must have managed a fleet of at least 40 vehicles
Possession of technical certifications will be an advantage

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Effectively manage vehicle administrative functions including scheduling, routing, driver management, maintenance, etc
Prepares timely and accurate operational reports to aid management decision making. copied from: .com-
Demonstrates excellent decision-making skills to deal with critical customer service issues
Implements industry and international best practices in fleet management

3. MANAGING DIRECTOR
The suitable candidate must be able to identify and deliver critical value drivers of the courier business and successfully execute a turn around strategy for a growth-focused business.
CRITICAL SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES
Strong leadership and communication skills
Convincing courier and logistics operations experience
Previous hands-on experience in managing a business within a highly competitive industry
Expert in strategic planning and execution with strong entrepreneurial mind-set

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of a Bachelor's degree. A Master's degree in Logistics or Supply Chain or advanced degree in business management will be an advantage .. In addition, the candidate must have at least '15 years working experience in supply chain and logistics management.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Create and cascade the vision and mission of the organization to all stakeholders
Design and implement successful corporate strategic plans to move the organization to the next level
Wholly accountable for the overall performance of the business in terms of growth and profit
Responsible for generating and achieving annual financial and customer service objectives


4. REGIONAL BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER (Positions in Lagos, East and North)
Reporting directly to the MD, this senior manager position is focused on developing and growing profitable business opportunities for CourierPlus in the various identified regions.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES
Passion for target achievement and a great team player
Strong client relationship management skills
High commercial acumen
Good high level networking skills

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
At least 10 years cognate experience in the courier and logistics industry with proven success in sales and new market development. A minimum of a Bachelor's degree or HND, Master's degree will be an added advantage.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Develop and execute strategies that will exponentially increase revenue/market share and profit in the respective regions:
Sourcing and development of viable partners and agencies
Increasing local visibility and penetration
Manage key customer relationships.
Lead a vibrant team of sales professionals towards achieving overall organizational objectives.
