FRSC & NDLEA MAKES ME THINK IF NIGERIA IS A FAILED NATION

    Dear All
almost a year ago, about 2session long debate was held in d Nig. House of Reps. Chamber.
Som minors tried 2qualify Nigeria as a failed state
    then,in my own opinion
i termed them as bein myopic and not sensitiv 2 our movments since 01-10-1960
    2day,after d fitness "CONTEST"
i thought of givin d Reps. Minors stand a check
I was qualified and if selfish, i need not 2 critisiz
But thinking of d manner in which otha colleagues were disqualified
    There extortion(application fee)
Fixture of their exam Disorganization caused by them in our society in the name RECRUITMENT
    it make me question
    Do we have leaders?
    What are our legislators doing?
Do we hav a national Mission
if the answers are Nos & Don't Knows
    then I'm sorry
Govt. Agencies and parastatals don't hav budgets 4 recruitment
the only way 2 know if you're qualified 4 a job is to show you can
    Die
the Army too turns an oppotunist
aside the expensive Govt. Hospitals certified fitness certificate we got it stil went ahead to compulsrily collect N200 from all applicant
    mhnn!!!
    House please are we FAILED

@musty2k10...I feel your pain my brother, i feel your passion. But that is what this country is turning into, a failure. But the question is what can you and i do to make life better for "the person next to us", before considering ourselves? The answer you'll probably have by impulse is another question, why the other guy? This is exactly what the high and mighty have always been doing...selfishness...Some people died during the race and i learnt of so many with miscarriages, twisted ankle ect. While 90% of those that will eventually be employed are in their sitting rooms watching the race on T.V. We complain now because we are outside the system, when we get in (because we will all finally make it in life one way or the other) what are we going to do? Join them? Blend in and keep quiet? or we make sacrifice to make life better for the next generation, "the person next to us"...Together we all can make Nigeria better....."Nutty has left da building"

This country needs serious fasting prayers.
Meanwhile let's check ourselves and make sure we do not contribute to it (corruption) despite d challenges. If corrupt leaders do not have corrupt citizens to work with, I tell u, it would be almost impossible for them to carry out their naferous acts. For instance, a senator who intends to push his candidate who is not qualified, would not succeed if d candidate refuses, knowing that he is not qualified. But tell me, which candidate would refuse such an offer? None! It is the same way in almost all other categories of corruption, they most times need lower class citizens to succeed.
    God help us.

In as much as the country failed in many areas, that "failure" should not warrant any Nigerian to say Nigeria or Nigerians are failures.
If you investigate just a little you'll find out most of those people who specialise in saying Nigeria has failed are either pessimist or non Nigerians, or crooks which include exam malpractice etc. Nigeria may not have done so well, but those who do not push to make a positive change should stop distracting others by just pointing on the bad things instead seeing the good thing and encouraging more of its like to be done, or better still, start doing good things , start making the difference in your little way and see many others will not join
With God ALL things are possible!

Omanma, there is not wrong in constructive criticism. If you were at the venue of FRSC test that was postponed you will understand what some mean by Nigeria being a “failed state”.
