MY GUY, JUST GO FOR FIRS, SPEND SOMETIME THERE, GET ALL THE EXPERINCE U CAN GET, DO UR MASTERS OR OTHER COURSES AND THEN MOVE ON, as in get another job, THATS WHAT THE WORLD IS ALL ABOUT.

This is a sensitive issue that will one day call 4 our individual response ,though collectively we seem 2 be suggesting opinions 2 our colleague.As an individual we need 2 know that nothin last 4ever, hence we need 2 adequately prepare 4 such occurence as d banking sector has shown.Pple who complained of choices when they had it like between 2 job opportunities neva ultilised d choice they chose.Cos i see no reason why they shud complain except 4 those underpaid with or without security.There is no secured job anywhere in the world except the one own by ur father.Hence, God is the only secured source(Gen 26).The private sector will allow u 2 develop career wise and grow while the public sector on its own slowers down one's growth.Whicheva one that comes our way let's set our priorities right.4 me I will advise u again 2 go for Flour Mills and set ur priorities right cos nothin lasts 4eva.It is a matter of asking urself where u wan t 2 be in the next 1 year.

Paly congrat n my word 4 u is that of FIRS, d pay is ok. #150,000 is d take home package 4 entry level n it is secure, Flour mill is not secure, dey use to sack every now n den.

I will advise you to go for firs job bcos is a security job that can give you joy and hapiness but if you look at the monetary aspect of it i'm very sorry to say.........

just go for FIRS.....that is your place of destiny...after your retirement aleast you have a future.......but for mills no future gaurant.......CONGRATUNLATION....am also expecting my own miracle in the month of febuary 2010.......God who did that for you will surly do my own for me.....(amen)

I will personally advise you to take the FIRS job because it is more secured.

I will advice you to take FIRS because of the security of the job not minding the pay but that of flour mills is not secured, you can be laid off at any time despite the fact that the pay is higher.

Man!! First, Congrats!! You are one of the lucky few. However, you are in charge of your life. But let me say that you mustn't depend on salary and job security stuff. Yes . You heard me right. Plan what you want with what you get. Job security doesn't exist on either side. The idea is when you are there plan something of a long term benefit. It is good that you are employed,but sit down and have a heartfelt father-and-son chat with God. Let Him direct you. Choose anyone that will favour your long term ambition. Cheers!! Plz I did FIRS interview too and would like to know when you did yours, the position you applied for and when they offered you employment.

I think you should choose FIRS, however it's important you ask the one that knows what is best for you.

If I am not mistaken FIRS stands for Federal Inland Revenue Service; as you may know most government jobs have security, no may be sacked unless you decide to leave voluntarily. Flour Mills, though, is a world class company that pays good money. I think you need to get on your knees and settle it with the Supreme Power, our Father in heaven. All the best.

I ll advice u go 4 Flour mills, I have pple in my family working with flour mills, my father retired from flour mills and my broda s still with dem,
On job security: flour mills is not like other private sectors oh, mind u dey dnt just sack nor downsizing in flour mills.
On pay package: flour mills starting package may look small compare 2 other private sectors but experience, career wise, promotion, training even in outside country is superb etc.
Guy 4get FIRS, my immediate sister work with LIRS little diff from FIRS, dey ll push u out 4 marketing, Corrupt u by taking small small bribe and make u reduntant at d long run.
Lastly remember moving from 1 coy 2 oda brings more promotion & versatility dan just in a sector.
THE CHOICE IS URS.
