Job Title: Financial accounting officer

JOB QUALIFICATION:

Minimum of 2nd Class honours, upper division in Accountancy or related field.
Minimum of 3 years work experience in a General accounting and an Audit role
Minimum of PE 1 Certificate in ICAN or its equivalent in ACCA.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Implement company wide initiatives in financial areas to support the under listed:
1. Preparation of Account Journal entries
2. perform monthly tax filing and remitting to the relevant office
3. carry out revenue transaction reconciliations
4. keep and maintain asset register
5. track and audit cash book
6. follow up and recover transaction revenues
7. general ledger operations
8. prepare, analyze and review budget, revenue, expense, payroll entries, invoices and other accounting documents
9. Prepare monthly trial balance and financial statement
10. Prepare profit and loss statements and monthly closing and cost accounting reports
11. Interface with banks.
