ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT (KANO STATION) 2-year renewable contract

DUTIES:

Successful candidate will:
  • Coordinate and implement office procedures for smooth-running and effective office functioning;
  • Maintain an effective filing system and safe-keeping of confidential documents;
  • Effectively manage office equipment and other office resources and maintain stock list of stationeries;
  • Arrange appointments and meetings for Scientists;
  • Provide administrative and logistic support to staff and visitors;
  • Assist Scientists in retrieval of information, data and documents;
  • Assist in preparation of administrative and financial reports and
  • Perform any other assigned duties by the Supervisor
QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE:
  • BSc/HND Business, Secretarial or Public Administration.
  • Postgraduate degree and Professional qualifications are added advantage. At least three (3) years post-qualification relevant working experience in an international, multi-cultural environment is required.
  • He/She will also be required to have very strong oral and written communication skills especially in English language and have excellent interpersonal skills.
  • In addition, candidates must be highly computer literate using database software.
