1. UNIX/Linux Support Engineer (Refrence number - UNIX0810):

Role Description:

The UNIX/Linux support engineer would be responsible for carrying out the day to day support and maintenance activities for our client solutions, which are focused around data, voice communication and collaboration technologies. The successful candidate will also be responsible for taking support calls from clients, logging and following up of each support incident in our support incident tracking system as well as preparing and proving daily, weekly and monthly reports of activity in the technical department.
There may be the occasional requirement to work during a weekend, such as in the case of client system maintenance.

Required Qualifications:

- University or Polytechnic graduate
- LPIC or RHCE certified
- Minimum of 1 year relevant working experience.

Required Skills:

- PC and Network Hardware troubleshooting
- Email client and server configuration & management
- LAN, WAN and VPN configuration
- Basic Linux knowledge, Linux RAID, firewall & Networking
- Basic DNS knowledge


Additional Skills (Would be an advantage):


- Experience with Open source VoIP systems, particularly Asterisk and FreePBX based systems
- Wireless and WiFi experience
- VSAT installation and troubleshooting
- Squid Proxy configuration and access control
- Knowledge of NAS, SAMBA and NFS configuration.



2. MS Windows Support Engineer (Refrence number - MSWN0810):

Role Description:

The MS Windows support engineer would be responsible for carrying out the day to day support and maintenance activities for our client solutions, which are focused around windows-based networks and technologies, including Microsoft Active directory, Windows Server 2003 and related technologies. The successful candidate will also be responsible for taking support calls from clients, logging and following up of each support incident in our support incident tracking system as well as preparing and proving daily, weekly and monthly reports of activity in the technical department.
There may be the occasional requirement to work during a weekend, such as in the case of client system maintenance.

Required Qualifications:

- University or Polytechnic graduate
- MCSC or MCP certified
- Minimum of 1 year relevant working experience.

Required Skills:

- Windows client (XP, Vista, Win 7) and Server (2003, 200 configuration and troubleshooting
- Microsoft Active Directory knowledge
- In-depth knowledge of Group Policies and OU control
- Sound IP networking knowledge
- Familiarity with Cisco products configuration.
