Job Description
We are a Radio Broadcasting Organization located in Ikoyi, Lagos and we wish to recruit a suitably qualified candidate for the above position.

The Role:
The role will include generating ideas for creating compelling and multimedia content.
Website Content Administrator /editor needed to manage and produce content in order to increase traffic to the website and ensure online news and data is kept up to date. The role will include generating ideas for creating compelling content and providing the website with appropriate content including, blogs, images and news as required, whilst also ensuring all content produced is search engine friendly and that all opportunities for natural search are maximized. He/she will also oversee user generated content. The candidate will produce interactive content and develop engaging ways to display research.

Responsibilities:
The Content Administrator / Web editor will ensure content is produced daily, delivered on time and that all copy is sharply focused, interesting, jargon free, clear, well structured and SEO friendly. The Content Administrator / Web editor will be responsible for creating stories and multimedia content that attracts high levels of traffic.
The Content Administrator / Web editor will have experience of writing copy and have the ability to produce quick turnaround content. The successful candidate will have appreciation of the online content market and experience of working with CMS with basic knowledge of HTML and XML.
The Content Administrator / Web editor will be sociable, creative and innovative and very keen to further develop their own skills and career in a fast growing organization. He/she must possess excellent writing, and editing skills. You will be creative, a fast learner and be strong at copywriting and accurate in your editing. Whilst it is an advantage to have experience in an online environment, it is more important that you are able to produce accurate, attention grabbing copy.

Requirements:
First degree in arts related course such as English, English literature
Strong research and internet searching skills as trawling the internet for news sources is essential
Ability to work in a team
