POSITION:
Facility & Infrastructure Maintenance Engineer

Summary: Establishing and enforcing the best practices for all tasks and functions within given facilities including responsibilities for scheduling and coordinating inspections, repairs, testing and calibration of all electrical and mechanical systems.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Electrical installation design, single line diagram update, and performance documentation
  • Prepare bills of quantity and estimate for electrical and/or mechanical installation for tender purposes.
  • Plan and implement research methodology and procedures to apply principles of electrical theory to engineering projects.
  • Execute electrical maintenance works across all installations
  • Inspect project sites to monitor progress and ensure conformance to design specifications and safety / sanitation standards
  • Manage and maintenance of Generator sets.
  • Supervision of electrical projects and maintenance schedules
  • Operate and monitor power systems to ensure uninterrupted power supply to all Equipment with priority given to IT datacentres’,
  • Identify and repair mechanical and electrical faults promptly.
  • Ensure strict adherence to all corrective, preventive and predictive maintenance schedules for all Mechanical and Electrical Equipment in order to maintain optimal operating conditions
  • Regular review and monitoring of over 200 FM installations
  • Liaise with all vendors responsible for the supply and periodic maintenance of power, cooling and fire protection appliances.
  • Ensure strict adherence to Health and Safety regulations
  • Identify Strategies for improving electro – mechanical facilities management
  • Periodic Electrical Audit exercise for all facilities

Requirements:
  • A degree in a technical or engineering discipline.
  • At least 4 years’ experience comprising:

  • Experience in maintenance of building and infrastructure systems such as access control systems, CCTV Systems, Fire detection systems and electrical systems and generators.
  • Oil & Gas Industry Dynamics
  • Engineering and Technology -- Knowledge of the practical application of engineering science and technology. This includes applying principles, techniques, procedures, and equipment to the design and production of various goods and services.
  • Knowledge of design techniques, tools, and principle involved in production of precision technical plans, blueprints, drawings, and models.
  • Computers and Electronics -- Knowledge of circuit boards, processors, chips, electronic equipment, and computer hardware and software, including applications and programming.
