Corporate Sales Executive Platinum Links Resources - Mainland Role: Corporate Sales Executive Location: Lagos Department: Commercial Reporting to: Corporate Sales Manager Position Overview: Operating in the commercial/Public Affairs department, the primary responsibility will be to plan and carry out New Business sales activities across the whole company portfolio, meeting and exceeding sales targets so as to maximise revenue and profitability. Additional responsibilities will be to aid and assist across the commercial department's operations, whenever necessary, in areas such as event travelling management, marketing of company's products. Key Activities: Actively target businesses and individuals to sell across the range of the company's portfolio - this area should be a focus• Projecting the organisations hospitality packages and Executive abroad training time schedule• International hospitality• Responsible for managing sales database and ensuring that all leads are actioned• Responsibility for the delivery of individual sales targets • Reporting on all aspects of the sales process to your line manager• Work closely with the finance team to insure that any invoicing is actioned quickly and accurately• To actively consider new approaches to the organisations assets to maximize sales• Making at least 10 new leads a week to add to the commercial team's database• Instigate and conduct face-to-face client meetings via research and personal development • To be actively understanding and meeting clients' needs so that the sales opportunity can be maximized• Key Skills and Attributes:• Proven track record in sales and of achieving targets • Experience of developing sales strategy and new business initiatives• Experience of strategic prospecting and cold calling capability at an Executive level• Strong network of contacts• Self-driven, results-oriented with a positive outlook, and a clear focus on high quality and business profit• Ability to meet and exceed sales targets• Negotiation and influencing skills• Presentation skills• Excellent verbal communication skills• Networking skills• A clear passion for selling across the companys portfolio of rights• Ability to initiate and drive sales with limited hands-on guidance• Able to work under pressure• Ability to drive and own a car• Energy, enthusiasm and excitement with clients• Proactivity• 'Can-do' attitude• Determination • Additional Requirements: Preferably own a car.
