TEST MANAGER
Core Job Functions / Responsibility:
The Test Manager must have a strong understanding of testing technologies from both a technical and business perspective, specifically writing Test Plans, Test specifications and Test Reports. Must also have experience in managing and sustaining diverse relationships.

Primary activities
· Managing the Test team.
· Lead, plan and direct the activities of test engineers, maximising effectiveness.
· Responsible for analysing, generating, estimating and delivering Use Cases and
· Test plans within the constraints of time, cost and quality, to the customer’s
· Satisfaction, acting as a responsible point of contact for the team.
· Manage and measure performance and delivery against work plans, and take
· Corrective action where necessary.
· To be actively involved in evolving and improving the testing methodology
· To undertake such other work as is necessary to achieve the overall objectives of the System Test Team.
· Demonstrated pro-activity in capitalising on opportunities and resolving issues.
· Use of defect tracking systems and version control systems

Job Requirements and Skills
Graduate Qualifications: A First degree BEng, BSc, BTec, Science or Technology Only from a recognised University REQUIRED.
Post Graduate Qualifications: Master’s degree or Post Graduate Qualification would be of ADVANTAGE.
Experience: 7 to 10 years’ relevant work experience in IT production environment, NYSC is ESSENTIAL.
Certifications and Training Requirements: Relevant IT Certifications (CISCO, JAVA etc.), ISO, ITIL, PMP, Applications etc. would be of ADVANTAGE.
