Job Description
Emerging Markets Telecommunication Services (EMTS), trading as Etisalat, is a Nigerian company duly incorporated under the laws of Nigeria in partnership with Mubadala Development Company and Etisalat of the United Arab Emirates. Incorporated in Nigeria as a private company, it acquired the Unified Access License from the Federal Government in January 2007.
Etisalat has been the telecommunications service provider in the United Arab Emirates since 1976 and has footprints in 18 countries traversing the Middle East, Asia and Africa. In its many years of operations, it has built up state-of-the-art telecom infrastructure and taken a leadership position of innovation, and quality service delivery among regional and international operators.

Responsibilities:
Lead the development, maintenance and governance of the enterprise systems architecture across Etisalat Nigeria and end-to-end (multi-tier) management of multiple enterprise IT and telco-centric systems resources in order to ensure availability of adequate capacity to meet business requirements in a sustainable and optimized manner.
Promote a strategic and integrated approach for solutions to enterprise (systems) architecture issues across all functional boundaries.
Lead the development of an implementation plan for the enterprise architecture based on business requirements and IT strategies.
Oversee the documentation of all architecture design and analysis work to create a repository of enterprise systems architecture knowledge.
Lead the analysis of the current IT environment to detect critical deficiencies and recommend solutions for improvement.
Consult with project teams as appropriate to modify the enterprise architecture in order to accommodate project needs.
Develop and manage a framework for continuous capacity planning and monitoring with a view to proactively meeting and anticipating business demands across all IT systems.
Oversee capacity planning and business/ technology demand management across critical IT systems and BSS/ OSS platforms to ensure that the business is adequately positioned to meet/ lead commercial and enterprise demands in a consistently efficient and effective manner.
Ensure alignment of capacity management activities across all technology functions within the organization.
Interface with other teams within and outside the IT function in the process of delivering business IT capabilities.
Interface with vendors, suppliers and partners to ensure effectively optimized adoption of solutions.
Track and evaluate usage statistics of deployed systems and advise on required capacity provisioning actions.

Qualification/Experience:
First degree or equivalent in IT, Computer Engineering, and/ or any other relevant discipline.
Postgraduate/ professional qualification and/ or certification in a related field, e.g TOGAF, ZF, etc, will provide a distinct advantage.
Between five (5) and eight ( years directly relevant post-NYSC work experience, with at least most recent two (2) years in a supervisory or specialist-level role.
