Our Client, a leading hospitality company requires qualified and competent individual to fill the following vacancy as a matter of utmost urgency.

VACANT POST: GENERAL MANAGER/CHIEF OPERATING OFFICER

LOCATION: ABUJA


  • Present and sell company services to current and potential clients with excellent product knowledge to achieve target.



  • Prepare action plans and schedules to identify specific targets and to project the number of contacts to be made.



  • Follow up on new leads and referrals resulting from sales activity.



  • Provide market intelligence reports on competitor's activities.



  • Identify sales prospects and develop old accounts as assigned.



  • Establish, maintain and follow up on current client and potential client relationships.



  • Develop new accounts.



  • Identify and resolve client concerns.



  • Prepare a variety of status reports, including activity, closings, follow-up and adherence to goals.



  • Communicate new product and service opportunities, special developments, information or feedback gathered through field activity to manager.



  • Develop and implement special sales activities to increase company’s revenue.



  • Prepare presentation and proposals.



  • Develop and maintain current product knowledge.



Qualification: Minimum of HND/B.Sc in Business Administration or any related field in any Social Sciences Field. A chartered member of NMIN/NIM or a masters degree in marketing will be an added advantage.

Required Skills:

  • 5 -10 years of hands on experience; Minimum 4 years managerial and marketing experience in the hospitality industry. Management of corporate accounts will be an added advantage.



  • Strong analytical skills to review both financial and operational data.



  • Strong leadership, management and motivational abilities.



  • Excellent communication skills in English (Written & Spoken)



  • Innovative, dynamic couple with CAN-DO attitude



  • Proficient with MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint – a must.



  • Professional image, polished presentation



  • Strong relationship building and negotiating skills



  • Strong Relationship management skills



  • Good Report writing skills
