JOB POSITIONS

CATEGORY I
Creche (CR01): Manage kids from age 6months – 18months

MAIN DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITY
The Caregivers shall keep a daily log of the child’s activities, ensure their safety, socialize
with them, feed the children, serve them beverages and assist them with their bathroom
needs. She shall ensure that the children’s diapers are constantly changed.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE


• Minimum of an SSCE
• Must have a good command of spoken and written English.
• Must be patient, hardworking, diligent and trustworthy.
• 1‐3 years in a similar role
CATEGORY II
Pre –K (PK01): Manage Kids from ages 18 months – 36 months
Kindergarten I (KG01): Manage kids from ages 3years – 4years
Kindergarten II (KG02): Manage kids from ages 4years – 5years

CATEGORY III
Primary I (PRY01): Manage kids from ages 5years ‐ 6 years
Primay2 (PRY02): Manage kids from ages 6years –7years
MAIN DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITY
The teacher has an array of specific duties, which must be completed on a daily basis.
He/she is expected to manage one/any of the classes as designated by the Director of School
or any other higher authority. The teacher shall use the curriculum and best practices to
develop lessons and activities that meet both the group and individual needs of the
students.

DETAILED DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITY
The Teacher shall
• Prepare the daily and the term’s lesson plans in accordance with the school’s
curriculum, and discuss them with the Director of School.
• Regularly and promptly assess and correct all assignments completed by the pupils.
• Assist the pupil’s to improve their socializing skills.
• Ensure the safety of all pupils in their care at all times.
• Monitor the development of each child in their care and make notes on the progress
of each pupil.
• Keep accurate and complete records of the progress of each pupil.
• Engage parents on the progress and development of their wards by filling their
communication book and where necessary, letters or individual meetings.
• Be available for all Parent‐Teacher forums.
• To care for the classroom in which he/she teaches. To ensure that the room is
attractively decorated and conducive for learning.
• To keep the administration informed about pupil’s absence, lateness or discipline
problems.
• Take on any other additional tasks that may be assigned by the Director of School.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE
• Minimum of an NCE Certificate or B.Sc.
• Must have a good command of spoken and written English.
• Must be patient, hardworking, diligent and trustworthy.
• 1‐3 years in a similar role
• Additional points are scored if candidates have a flair for fine arts and music.
• Must be computer literate.
