TEACHERS NEEDED IN SEDEC INTERNATIONAL SCHOOL
Our client SEDEC International School is a newly established independent day school providing excellence in primary and secondary education base on a curriculum comprising of both Nigeria and British school standard system.
The school has begun the second phase of its strategic development plan and as a result of this, is seeking to employ highly motivated and professional individuals with relevant teaching skills to fill the available positions stated below.
Job positions:

  • Subject teachers for Sciences which includes Biology, Physics, Chemistry, Geography, Agric. Sci. & Information technology (Ref code: ED/Sci./011).
  • Admin & support staff including Admin officer, store keeper & school Nurse (Ref code: ED/AD/013).
  • Head of English Studies (Ref code: ED/HE/014).
  • Curriculum developer (Ref code: ED/CD/012).
  • Subject teachers for Commercial classes (Ref code: ED/CC/015)
  • Head of Mathematics (Ref code: ED/HM/017)
  • Subject teachers for Art classes (ED/AC/016)


Location: Lagos State.

Salary: N90000 and above including allowances and incentives

Experience: 2-5 years relevant working experience is needed.

Responsibilities:

  • To teach the decided curriculum
  • Take lectures
  • Perform lab experiments and other scientific investigations
  • Maintain file records of the students
  • Evaluate and grade students on various parameters
  • Provide necessary support to meet student's instructional needs
  • Be an active member in all the activities related to the subject
  • Organize contests and field trips
  • Organize parent teacher meetings
  • Make sure that student development and achievement is permanent and appropriate for age group, subject area, and/or program classification


  • Develop schemes of work and lesson plans in line with curriculum objectives.


  • Facilitate learning by establishing a relationship with pupils and by their organization of learning resources and the classroom learning environment science applicant must be good in practical.


Qualifications and Requirements:

  • A bachelor’s degree in Education and mastery of core subject.
  • Minimum of 3 years of successful teaching experience in a notable Private Secondary School in Lagos State or Ogun State.
  • Innovative N.C.E holders with minimum of five years of experience in a notable Private Secondary School may also apply.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Strong classroom management skills.
