A leading consulting engineering company is recruiting for contract staff massively for a project which will start in first quarter of 2011.

The following vacant positions are available in each state of Federation:

1. Geographic Information System Officer-1
2. State Project Managers-7
3. Site Verification officers-14
4. Site Enumeration officers-14
5. Site Certification officers-14
6. Field Operation Supervisors-7
7. Admin office Assistant/Computer Operators-7
8. Drivers-8

Qualification for 1-2 above:
• M.Sc in Geology or related environmental science profession with minimum of 8years working experience.
• Evidence of Project Management will be added advantage.

Qualification for 3-6 above:
• Candidate should possess B.Eng /B.Sc /HND /Diploma in Electrical or Electronic Engineering from recognized institution.
• No experience required as all those employed will be trained.
• Prior knowledge of handling electrical and data gathering equipment like
GPS, etc will be an advantage but not compulsory.

Qualification for 7 above:
• Diploma/ OND in Computer Science with minimum of 2years working
experience. Anyone with Certificate in computer science but with minimum
of 5years working experience may be considered.
• Good and sound knowledge of MS-Office, and other 3rd party software e.g
project management software
• Ability operate office equipment e.g copier, scanner etc
• Ability to use the internet very well without supervision
• Be ready to learn within short period and work extra hours if need be.

Qualification for 8 above:
• Valid driver’s license
• Demonstrable knowledge and evidence of knowing the state road networks
• 2-3years driving experience.
