Degree, Experience and understanding of supply chain and procurement concepts and policies within BAT, Solid and relevant experience of financial analysis, contract/commercial law, import/export and freight practices, ERP systems, business processes, sales and marketing practices, experience in Purchasing (sourcing strategy, external & internal relationship management, negotiating and contracting and , appreciation of product knowledge), grasp of costing principles (including understanding of the concept of cost drivers) and appreciation of market trends.

(2) Senior Counsel Intellectual Property & Illicit Trade - Lagos
A degree in Law and a call to the Bar Certificate (Minimum of Second Class Lower division) with 10 years experience in Intellectual Property and Commercial law. A colloquial knowledge of the French Language, ability to know when to take a commercial view and identify an opponent’s strengths and weaknesses. In-depth and first- hand experience of the registration process, mechanisms for protection use and enforcement of trademarks, copyright, patents, designs and trade secrets, licensing, technology transfer, packaging, labelling, manufacturing and distribution agreements and rendering of legal opinions on these issues. Specific experience of tackling intellectual property issues in respect of tobacco products in Nigeria and West Africa.

(3) Finance Manager - Lagos
A good university degree. Complete understanding of key financial strategies and accounting tools. Understanding of the impact of financial decisions in the whole Nigeria area. Awareness of British-American Tobacco financial planning, marketing finance, operation finance and reporting procedures. Fluent written and spoken English. Good control environment as measured by regular audits.

(4) HR Business Partner - Ibadan Factory
Degree in any discipline with several years of Senior Human Resources management experience. Ability to skilfully engage and influence at all levels. Detailed knowledge of Nigerian labour law and Nigerian labour custom and practice. Knowledge of change management. Up-to-date on the changing roles of HR in today’s and tomorrow’s workplace.

(5) Regulatory Affairs Manager - Abuja
Good first degree with at least 5 years experience in a substantial corporate affairs role in a reputable commercial/FMCG organisation. Understanding of socio-economic and political environment, current thinking on globalisation, role and influence of NGO's, public policy-making processes and regulatory structures. Sound understanding of the political and bureaucratic terrain. Ability to develop partnerships, strategic alliances and associations (media, NGOs, industry associations) . Ability to develop complex/across functional projects, Good interpersonal, negotiations and influencing skills, especially with people outside sphere of authority. Understanding of different communication vehicles. Advanced level of information technology literacy and competence. Knowledge of tool/methods for strategy and planning.
